The Oyster is a cymbal concept characterized by an uneven shape and profile. Most of the cymbal has a traditionally shaped profile, while about a quarter of the cymbal is nearly flat. The traditional section gives the cymbal a strong and sweet stick sound, while the flat portion adds a sympathetically resonating lower pitched wash. This cymbal comes standard with two brass rivets. Note: the flat, softer section of the cymbal will always hang opposite to the player.
