The Spring ride has a pronounced stick attack with a low pitched, complex wash that sits beneath it. While being a medium weight cymbal, it is very sensitive near the edge, especially if you strike with the shoulder of the drum stick. This ride cymbal is inspired by the one that Tony Williams uses on his album Spring.
