20" Woodstock ride
The Woodstock ride features a raw and dark surface patina, a pressed bell, and sparse hammering that allows the cymbal to breathe. Immediately present is its dark, dry, yet clear stick attack. Beneath that is a subtle dry wash that is full of life. When you crash the cymbal its lower frequencies are activated, adding some warmth to an otherwise very dry cymbal. We think Jack might have liked this one when playing with Keith in the 80s. I wonder how his garden is looking.
