All Crumply bells have been shaped in Singapore, then shipped to Montreal, where we hammered the profile and created the patina. During the hammering stages in Montreal, we stayed in contact with Doran to make sure that the cymbals would react well to our shaping and added tension. Kupo's cymbals typically don't go through any heat treatment after the hammering process, but ours did. This allowed us to hammer the cymbals more intensely and still get plenty of wash.
